The project is developed as a part of the MA UX Design course at Falmouth University.

Design & Project Goals

Personal: Through the development, I wanted to experience the process so that by completion, I could observe the result and outline the expectation for my next project.

I also wanted to gain an understanding of where I am with my work and where to move further.

End Product: An app that is based on game design principles and teaches a user to make an acknowledged choice when buying products. As the result of selecting and consuming the product with the most positive ecological & health impact, a user will achieve points that will lead them to a trip to the Moon. The app includes informative facts about space travel, ecology, and nature.

Stakeholders: government, people, nature.

Users: young people living in the UK, aged 10-15.

Tools: Word, Trello, Figma, Illustrator, Teams, After Effects, Internet.

Design & Project Goals

Personal: Throughout the development, I wanted to understand the role of graphic and UX design in the game development process.

End Product: ‘A Mystery Unfolded’ is a cosy, whodunit platformer game, where you play as an origami pig, in an origami world. The game opens with you witnessing a crime that has been committed. As a retired detective, it is up to you to find answers to who crumpled Andy Warhopper in the origami world.

Stakeholders: gamers and investors.

Users: a 12+ age rating but expect more young adults (mainly women) to play the game.

Tools: Word, HacknPlan, Miro, Figma (presentation), Teams, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
